Biography
Jennifer Doyle is a Manhattan independent school learning consultant who specializes in working with families to ensure academic success for all learners. She is the founder and president of Transparent Learning NYC. Ms. Doyle has a master’s degree from NYU in reading and learning disabilities. She is New York State certified in Elementary Education, Reading, and Special Education.
Before starting her company, she was Director of Learning Services, grades k-12 at The Hewitt School in Manhattan. She has been an educator and learning specialist over the past twenty-five years. During the course of her career, she has had experience working in a variety of educational settings, which include public school, home and private tutoring, and literacy programs aimed at students with socio-economic differences. During her independent school tenure, she was also deeply involved in the kindergarten admissions process as well as organizing and administering ERB testing, such as the CTP4s. Throughout her career, she has kept abreast of the latest developments in education attending numerous workshops, seminars, and specialized training programs.
Perhaps most importantly, she has had the opportunity to view the process from both the school and parent perspectives. She has successfully guided her two daughters through New York independent schools and is now doing the same for her four grandchildren.
