TRANSPARENT LEARNING CHICAGO

Kathryn Heine is a Chicago independent school learning consultant who specializes in working with families to ensure academic success for all learners.  She has a master’s degree in elementary and special education from Long Island University (CW Post).

 

Before joining Transparent Learning, Ms. Heine was a kindergarten teacher at Chicago City Day School.  She was also involved in the school’s admission process and worked closely with prospective families to help them find the right educational setting.  During the course of her ten-year teaching career, Ms. Heine has worked in a variety of educational settings including an all girls private school, a school for students with learning disabilities and private tutoring.  Ms. Heine started her career at The Aaron School in Manhattan serving students with learning disabilities in the areas of reading, writing, and math, as well as, attention sensory and social challenges.  It was this first teaching experience that instilled in Kathryn a passion for helping to create a supportive atmosphere where students are able to become confident and successful and ultimately reach their maximum potential.  Ms. Heine worked with Ms. Doyle as a learning specialist at The Hewitt School in Manhattan.
